Kids can get a hand slimming down with a free programme set to take place this spring.
Mind, Exercise, Nutrition... Do it! (Mend) is set to give children and young teenagers in Wimbledon help achieving a healthy weight.
The course will combine tips on healthier eating, shopping and nutrition with advice on getting active. It will run at the YMCA on the Broadway from run from May 16, with two sessions a week for 10 weeks.
A Mend spokesman said: “With more than one in three children over the healthy weight range for their age and height, spring is the perfect time for families to take advantage of the accessible, friendly and encouraging support offered by the Mend programme.
“The course is aimed at overweight seven to 13-year-old children and their families, and provides an excellent chance to get fitter, healthier and happier in time for the holiday season.”
