The filming of a fly-on-the-wall documentary in epsom, Sutton and St Helier hospitals has come to an end.

Surgeons in Training, a three-part show set to be aired in autumn, followed 12 trainee surgeons for eight months, including three of the Epsom and St Helier Trust’s trainees, Nicola Robertson, Andy Al Rais and Rose Johns.

The documentary will show how modern surgeons are trained and will look at the very first steps that young doctors take on the road to becoming the next generation of consultant surgeons.

Surgeons in Training is scheduled to be aired on ITV1 later this year.
