Conservation to cooking, art to archaeology - young volunteers are needed across the district to help out with a huge variety of projects.
Last month Surrey vinvolved celebrated its first anniversary.
The project has been funded for three years and aims to find young volunteers and match them with appropriate schemes so that they will find volunteering a rewarding experience.
Two drop in centres have been opened where young people aged 16-25 can pop in and speak to an adviser about volunteering.
They are held from 10am to 1pm in Banstead Youth Centre, The Horseshoe, Banstead and from 3pm to 5pm at the volunteer centre in Epsom Town Hall on Thursdays.
Surrey vinvolved also offers training.
The next sessions are for young people wanting to volunteer with children aged 5 to 15 years in play and sport during after school or holiday times.
The training will be held at Banstead Youth Centre, The Horseshoe, Banstead, starting on April 28 and running once a week on Tuesday evenings for 5 weeks.
The training will cover areas such as first aid, leadership, art and craft and organising games. After the training young people will be able to volunteer on our children's play schemes during school holiday times and will be entitled to £50 expenses per week.
