Crystal Palace recorded their first victory in five games 3-1 at Plymouth thanks a storming first-half performance.
Goals from Neil Danns, Alan Lee and John Oster put the Eagles 3-0 up at the break and in control.
Argyle were the better side in the second half as Palace got nervous and Gary Sawyer pulled a goal back after Danns gifted Paul Gallagher possession out wide.
But despite numerous free-kicks they were unable to reduce the deficit further with debutant Claude Davis impressive at the back for Palace.
