The family of a Guantanamo Bay inmate from Battersea hold fresh hope for his release after pledges from the new American president.
Shaker Aamer, who has a wife and three children, has been kept at the US detention camp in Cuba for seven years.
He was handed over to the Americans in Afghanistan, but has never been charged with any offence.
President Barack Obama has pledged to close the camp, but the process will take months as leaders decide what to do with the inmates.
Mr Aamer is a Saudi who married a British woman, and has a seven-year-old son he has never seen.
