An 83-year-old driver was killed when his car smacked into a parked car, veered across the road and crashed into a tree.
An air ambulance attended the scene in Woodham Lane, Addlestone, but the Chiddingfold man was pronounced dead.
Police said the man was driving a Honda Accord towards Sheerwater when he hit the stationary Range Rover near the Heathervale Road junction at 2.20pm on Thursday.
The road was cordoned off for three and a half hours while officers investigated the crash.
