A taste of India greeted over 150 guests were at a care home for elderly Asian residents in Streatham Vale.
Aashna House, in Bates Crescent, opened its doors for its annual celebration, which included traditional Indian food, music and performances of Bollywood-style and classical Indian Kathak dancing.
The care home houses some 40 residents from almost all sections of the Asian community.
Manager, Mathini Navukkarasu, said: “This year’s party was a great success – we all had a wonderful evening.”
