Sports unsung heroes will be honoured at a ceremony later this year - and the search is on to find a Merton champion.
The Pro-active London Awards celebrate people who contribute to local sports teams and associations in the capital.
A spokesman for the event said: “These awards are for the volunteers who tirelessly assist their clubs making it possible for others to participate in the sport or physical activity that they love. The people who wash the kit week in week out, marshal at every event or make the teas and cake.”
Finalists will attend a ceremony at Lords Cricket Ground on March 27 alongside leading figures from the world of sport. Awards will be made for adults and under-18s.
