Armed robbers are being hunted by police after robbing a Post Office van carrying cash in Wallington.
The robbers are believed to have carried out the robbery off Stafford Road before lunchtime midday.
Police spokesman Samantha Harris said police were looking for two or three suspects who robbed the cash and transit van at 11.44am.
She appealed for witnesses to call police.
She said: "At this point police are looking for two or three suspects who were at the scene about 11.44am near High View Post Office.
"A cash and transit van was robbed.
"Anyone with information should contact police."
Passerby Alan Jackson, 26, of Wallington said he was walking down the road when he saw four police cars parked outside the shop.
He said: "The road was cordoned off and traffic was being diverted.
"A police officer told me two armed robbers had carried out a robbery."
