The London Mozart Players launched its 60th anniversary celebrations with Tramlink at the beginning of last week.
The orchestra was founded in 1949, and are sponsored by Croydon Council and Nestlé.
Femke de Vos Burchart, an orchestra spokesman, said: “The residency in Croydon is a vital part of the orchestra’s activities, not just the concerts at Fairfield Hall but also in schools, nurseries and care homes around the borough.”
Two free tickets are on offer for the Croydon Guardian’s readers to attend one of the anniversary concerts.
Transport for London said: “We were pleased to host the orchestra on the launch of its anniversary.
“Together with Tramlink, it has become an integral part of Croydon’s image, both nationally and internationally.”
