A campaign to ensure residents get the most out of their local health service in 2009 has been launched by Lambeth Primary Care Trust (PCT).

Every Lambeth household should have received a leaflet detailing GP practices in the borough where they can see a doctor or practice nurse earlier in the morning, later in the evening and/or on Saturdays.

The leaflet also details how to get an NHS dental appointment at a dentist near you, and who qualifies for free treatment.

Information on getting help quitting smoking is also provided.

The PCT also urges all Lambeth residents to register with a family doctor to facilitate access to healthcare.
