Neil Warnock believes it unlikely Craig Beattie will return to Crystal Palace despite parent club West Brom signing two forwards.
The Premiership relegation battlers have signed Jay Simpson and Marc-Antoine Fortune on loan for the rest of the season sparking hopes that Tony Mowbray may be willing to let Beattie leave.
However, Palace would only be able to have him on a six-month loan and Warnock does not believe West Brom would agree to that.
“I don’t think that will happen because if we take him we have got to take him on a six-month loan,” he said.
“They probably won’t let him go anywhere for six months as they want the power to call him back and to be honest I don’t think they are going to let him go out on loan anyway.”
