A boy from Tadworth will ride a horse at Barack Obama’s inauguration today.
Lawrence Dann-Fenwick, 16, who went to Tadworth Primary School has been living with his parents Neil and Tina in America for nine years, where he attends the Culver Academies.
He will be one of the riders of the 80-strong black horse troop, who will parade this afternoon in the cold weather at the last day of Barack Obama’s inauguration.
Despite living in America, Lawrence has kept his British accent and some fond memories.
“He has great memories of his time at Tadworth Primary School,” Mrs Dann-Fenwick said.
Pupils from Culver Academies, a boarding school in Indiana, have been taking part in presidential parades since 1913.
