THE CROYDON (NORTH) (PARKING PLACES) (NO.1) ORDER 1993 (AMENDMENT NO.1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2009
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on the 19 January 2009 made the above mentioned Order under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to designate new 4 hour 'shared use/pay and display' parking bays in Elmwood Road (8 bays, outside Dartmouth House) and Wellington Road (3 bays, adjacent to Abinger Court) in the Croydon (North) Controlled Parking Sub-Zone. Charges for parking in the bays will vary from 50p for 15 minutes to £4.20 for 4 hours (maximum).
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 26 January 2009 can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at the 'Access Croydon' Facility, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon, Surrey.
4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from Parking Services, Community Services Department, 9th Floor, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon, CR9 1EN.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
