Police in Elmbridge are appealing to the public to help them find an £850 watch, stolen during a burglary in Walton.
The distinctive limited edition Aston Martin watch was stolen along with £70 from a property in Rivernook Close, between 3.30pm and midnight on Friday, January 2.
The watch has a dark green lozenge shaped dial with Aston Martin wings at the 12 o’clock position, plus a stainless steel bracelet with gold plaques either side of the watch face - one engraved with the words Aston Martin, the other engraved 0808.
On the back of the watch case is engraved a unique reference number - 83562.
The watch was originally presented to its owner after 25 years’ service as an employee. Police said anyone with information about the burglary should contact Staines CID on 0845 1252222.
