She may not drive or have collateral assets, but a schoolgirl from Wallington has been making grown-ups look very stupid indeed.
Alice Nokes beat 600 young applicants around the UK to star in the latest series of Are You Smarter Than A Ten-Year-old?
The Sky quiz show, hosted by Noel Edmonds, tests adults on subjects spanning the primary school National Curriculum.
If they get stuck on a question, contestants can revive their chances of winning £250,000 by picking the brains of 20 star pupils in the studio.
Alice, now a student at Sylvia Young Theatre School, was chosen to expose the ignorance of her elders after an audition.
While most 10-year-olds would lament being stuck in a classroom over the summer, Alice happily spent three weeks learning sums and spelling.
This week mum, Gill, said: “Alice absolutely loved the experience and has now made friends all over the country.
“She appears quite a lot over the series, playing the flute and doing her dancing.
“Her favourite part was the daily shows with Dick and Dom because they were very cheeky and good with the children.”
Are You Smarter Than A 10-Year-Old, beginning with five celebrity specials, is screened on Sky 1 at 8pm on Thursdays.
