A property where £50,000 worth of cocaine was found in a police raid has been closed by the local Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).
Magistrates granted the order to close 11 Wordsworth Avenue, Kenley, on September 15, after a drugs raid found the haul of cocaine and some cannabis there last month.
Two men were arrested during the raid, on August 29, and have been bailed to return to a south London police station in October.
The closure order, which has been granted for three months, prevents anyone from entering the premises, including the tenant.
Anyone who does faces criminal proceedings.
Sergeant Paul Potter, Kenley Safer Neighbourhoods Team says: "Our team is committed to dealing with the quality of life issues that local residents highlight to us. After gathering and evaluating all the intelligence received the Kenley team in conjunction with our partners made sure positive action was taken to tackle this problem.
"Our aim is to make the ward a safer place for those that live in or visit the area."
