Former Bond girl Honor Blackman is due to attend a Wimbledon recording studio today to record a CD of children’s stories for Wimbledon Bookfest.
The actress - who starred alongside Sean Connery as Pussy Galore in Goldfinger - will be reading winning entries from a James Bond themed story writing competition organised by the local book festival.
The recordings being made at Cherry Pie music school and recording studio in Kingston Road will be presented to the winners by children’s laureate Michael Rosen at a special ceremony at the Polka Theatre next month.
