Face of Croydon winner Kym Whittle strutted her stuff in her debut on a New York catwalk during fashion week.
The 18-year-old model also met fashion icon Victoria Beckham.
She said: “I have had an amazing opportunity here in New York and I have loved every single minute of it.
“To meet Victoria Beckham was unbelievable and I have the contact details to keep in touch too.
“These opportunities would never have happened without the Face of Croydon and the confidence that Fashion Enter had with me personally.
“This is just the start now of my career - I have never been happier.”
Jenny Holloway from Fashion Enter who organised the Face of Croydon competition said: “To be able to take unknown individuals plucked off the streets in LEGI funded areas and bring them all the way to New York is a huge confidence builder for the winner but also acts as inspiration for others to follow.
“We are so pleased with how the event has been received.”
