A man has been banned from entering three towns after he admitted sexually assaulting a young girl on Christmas Eve.
Paul Newman, of Selby Road, Ashford, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the youngster on December 24, 2007, when he appeared at Guildford Crown Court on Tuesday.
The 46-year-old was warned he was facing a possible jail sentence after he admitted a charge of sexual assault on a female under the age of 13.
He was remanded on conditional bail until September 23 for pre-sentence reports.
A condition of his bail was that he must not enter Chertsey, Staines or Virginia Water.
Judge Peter Moss warned him: "The fact that I've released you on bail is no indication of the ultimate sentence that will be passed."
