Organisers of the West Wimbledon Eco Festival joined guest speaker and BBC presenter Satish Kumar, to celebrate another successful event.
Mr Kumar, who hosts the environmental documentary Earth Pilgrim, gave the festival’s inaugural Sandbrook lecture, named after Richard Sandbrook – founder of Friends of the Earth.
Sandbrook’s widow Mary was in the audience alongside the Reverend Richard Lake, who once again held the fair in the grounds of Christ Church, Raynes Park.
Rev Lake said: "Building on the success of the inaugural festival last year, we were delighted to have such an international figure like Satish Kumar who gave the lecture which concluded the day.
"It was a lot of hard work, but we feel important work for the church to be doing."
