Police are investigating the death of a man found injured after a fight at in Old Lodge Lane Purley.
Officers found Tony Prystako suffering from a head injury on Saturday after being called to reports of a brawl at his home at 9.39pm on Saturday.
Mr Prystako was rushed to Mayday Hospital, London Road, Thornton Heath by ambulance.
Despite receiving treatment for his injuries the 45-year-old died at 6am on Sunday.
A postmortem examination carried out at Croydon Mortuary yesterday failed to provide a conclusive cause of death.
Mr Prystako’s death is being investigated by the Met’s Homicide and Serious Crime Command based at Sutton.
Detective Inspector Andy Booth said police were appealing for information from the public and were particular interested in tracing a teen who was at the house on Saturday evening.
He is described as white and around 19-year-old.
