The organisers of a project to renovate a school in Africa and create a football pitch there are hoping to be given the go ahead next week.
The New Malden-based team have been working on Project Africa for nearly a year are looking to revamp and equip the sustainable school in Namibia by 2010 with the help of the Bobby Moore Fund, which is part of Cancer Research UK.
They also want to lay a football pitch and play the locals when the school is complete.
The object will also provide funds for bowel cancer research.
