Streatham-Croydon 65 Teddington 3
Streatham gave their push for promotion a significant boost on the last Saturday before Christmas by defeating Surrey Division 2 rivals Teddington by 65 points to 3.
Winger Paul Williams proved the star, running in a hat-trick of tries, whilst fly-half Will Manns and Gavin Calloo grabbed two each.
Inside centre Dean Taylor caused the most damage, using his pace to leave the visitor's defence flat-footed on half-a-dozen occasions.
The return of Vince Dixon at outside centre also added more power to Streatham's attack and he was rewarded with a late try.
With the home side's three-quarters dominating the game, it was Streatham's mobile back-row which began to take control and tries for flanker Chris McCarthy and No.8 Andy Brown were well-deserved.
