There’s a very well know bar/club in Croydon that does a roaring trade!

I used to be a regular, visiting every Saturday night and most Friday’s! We were so regular in fact my friends and I didn’t line up outside in the cold waiting to queue or we certainly didn’t pay!

Why is it two years later, when I go I feel like I am the oldest person in there? (I am only 28!)

I’ve been there three times in the past three weeks twice on a Saturday and once last Thursday. The first time was like a déjà vu for a friend and myself, as we were both let in for free (only as the till was playing up!) We had a good night and danced the night away till 2am.

The week later I went with different friends and the place was packed like I have never seen it. Thinking back I think it was illegal, a few bouncers and there must have been well over capacity in there. When I visited last Thursday I found out that Ministry of Sound were playing there the night that I visited! (I didn’t even know on the night!)

I love the place but think that the new management needs to remember the regulars and remember that lots of money for one night does not necessarily mean lots of money in repeat business!

I am a manager of a small team in Croydon and responsibility falls to me to arrange the Christmas do! We have decided not to add to the roaring trade, as it is just too expensive when we can go to a club up the road for £10 less a head!
