It appears those money grabbing throat cutters have decided to go ahead with the election losing bin tax and once again, the public is being screwed over.

Damn it, they would tax the very air we breathe if they could. They could call it “Air Tax”, or perhaps that are saving that title for when they say “lets tax people for going on holiday, and enjoying their god given right to see the rest of the planet”. It’s funny, because I doubt the Royal family will get taxed on the many vacations they will take. And I doubt the government will get taxed for all the air miles they muster up when they go all around the planet on “business”, discussing which unlucky nation should be placed next on the list for its oil resources, sorry, I meant terrorism activities.

Still, I think the solution to the bin tax could be solved. From recent reports in the press, it appears eating food can be bad for you. That’s right, a think tank, that was probably funded from public taxes, has suggested that eating just about everything (with the exception of vegetables) is bad for you and could give you cancer. So it appears the solution is to stuff ourselves with sprouts and brocolli…. Or perhaps we should just give up smoking and eat our cigarettes – the think tank said there was nothing bad about doing that.

I’m sorry, but none of this is new – Don’t they think the money and time wasted on this “research” could have been put to better use?

Another think tank, has suggested that Britons throw a 3rd of their food away. How do they know? Does some unlucky soul have to dig through all the nations rubbish and point at stuff and say “that’s edible, so is that…. And that”. What a sh:t job… Literally.

Since I have moved out, I have had the same dinner at least 3 times a week. Holly, or myself (alright, mostly Holly), prepares a dinner and we make so much, it lasts through out the week, for lunches at work and maybe a bit later in the week as another dinner. I’ve had toad in the hole, 3 times this week (and enjoyed it each of those times I might add).

It is common sense, but more important than that, it is budgeting – we don’t have an endless pit of money to dig into.

So ask the authorities this, why do they want to dig into our money pit to stop people putting waste into "their" pits? Is it really to prevent us from clogging up landfill sites? Or is it to fund another government think tank?

If they are really concerned, perhaps they should stop posting propaganda through my door telling me what a great job they are doing. I only throw it out anyway.
