Students at a girls' school in Sutton have achieved four times the amount of top grades as the national average.
Nearly a quarter of all GCSE entries at Sutton High School GDST were awarded a grade 9 - four times the national average - with 10 pupils achieving straight grade 9s.
A further 20 students earned a full set of grades 9-7, and more than two-thirds of all results were in that top band.
Beth Dawson, head of Sutton High School, said: "These results represent far more than examination success.
"This year group has thrown themselves into every aspect of school life, leading productions, representing the school in sport, supporting outreach programmes and championing diversity initiatives.
"To see them achieve such exceptional academic outcomes alongside those wider contributions is tremendously rewarding."
Students performed especially well in STEM subjects, with 75 per cent of computer science results and more than half of mathematics results awarded at grade 9.
Half of all grades in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics were also at the top grade.
Success also extended to the humanities and creative subjects, with 65 per cent of grades in history, 66 per cent in Music, 61 per cent in geography, 57 per cent in religious studies, and 50 per cent in business reaching grade 9.
Beyond the classroom, the class of 2026 contributed to school life through performing arts, sports, cultural diversity programmes, and outreach projects.
