A teenager has been taken to hospital after being stabbed.

Police attended Sumner Road in Croydon at around 1.10pm on August 18.

An 18-year-old man was found with knife injuries.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service.

"An 18-year-old man was found at the scene with knife injuries. 

"The victim was taken to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening.

"We await a further update on his condition. 

"Police are making enquiries.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to call 101, quoting reference 3640/18AUG."
