A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing.
Emergency services were called to Sumner Road in Croydon shortly after 1pm on August 18, where they treated a man before taking him to a major trauma centre.
London Ambulance Service said in a statement: "We were called at 1.12pm today (18 August) to reports of stabbing in Sumner Road, Croydon.
"We sent two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer to the scene.
"We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
"The first paramedic arrived in less than four minutes.
"We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre by road as a priority."
The road was closed in both directions.
Nearby bus routes 157, 264, 407 and 410 were also affected.
Sumner Road has since reopened and traffic is returning to normal.
