A man shot dead in south London has been described by friends as a 'cool guy' and a hard-working bus driver who was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Emergency services were called to Willington Road in Clapham at 9.57pm on last night (August 10), following reports of gunshots.
A 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, despite the efforts of medical professionals.
A friend of the victim said: "I don’t have bad things to say about him.
"He’s a cool guy, like I said, bus driver, hard-working.
"It’s shocking because of who he is and his character."
Another friend, who asked to remain anonymous, described him as a "great guy" and said:
"I feel extremely bad for his mother as well, she’s in bits.
"It hurts me as well."

A police forensic tent remained across the road from The Landor pub on Tuesday, with bouquets of flowers and a lit candle placed nearby in tribute.
A 22-year-old man later arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound and was arrested on suspicion of murder.
He remains in hospital, and police are awaiting an update on his condition.
