A woman has celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by family, friends, and guests.

Audrey reached the milestone at Epsom Beaumont Care Home on Church Street in Epsom, where she was joined by loved ones and fellow residents for a garden party in her honour.

The Mayor of Epsom and Ewell, Councillor Lucie McIntyre, also attended the celebration.

Those who attended said it was a 'day filled with happiness and memories that will stay with us for a long time'.

The garden was decorated with balloons, banners, and birthday treats, setting the scene for an afternoon of reminiscence and laughter.

Her visit was warmly appreciated by all who attended, and organisers said it 'highlighted the importance of celebrating such a significant milestone within the local community'.

With beautiful sunshine throughout the afternoon, guests gathered in the garden to enjoy food and company.

The home's chef prepared three birthday cakes and a spread of food for the occasion.
