No arrests have been made after a boy and a man were stabbed in broad daylight in Croydon.
Police were called to George Street, Croydon, at 5.46pm on Thursday, July 2, following reports of the incident.
Emergency services treated a man in his 20s and a 16-year-old boy at the scene before taking them to hospital.
The man's injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening or life-changing, while the boy's injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
Police have now stepped up patrols in the area amid concerns within the local community.
Police are appealing for information from the public.

A Met spokesperson said: "Police were called at 17.46hrs on Thursday, 2 July to reports that two men had been stabbed on George Street, Croydon.
"Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service. A man in his 20s and a 16-year-old boy were treated at the scene and taken to hospital.
"The injuries sustained by the man in his 20s have since been assessed as non-life threatening or life-changing.
"The boy's injuries have been deemed non-life-threatening.
"No arrests have been made at this early stage.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CAD6934/02JUL26.
"We recognise the concern this incident will cause the local community and have increased patrols in the area."
