Centuries-old traditions took centre stage as a Morris dancing group brought music and movement to the streets of Wimbledon.

Greensleeves Morris Men marked their 100th anniversary with a Day of Dance on June 27, beginning at the Wimbledon Tea Rooms near the windmill on Wimbledon Common.

Roy Fenton, a member of the group, said: "We have been performing in Wimbledon for 43 years, since 1991, and are delighted to start our day of dance here on Wimbledon Common."

He encouraged new volunteers to get involved and join them.
