Detectives are appealing for dashcam and doorbell footage after a man was left fighting for his life in a stabbing in Brixton.
Police were called to Acre Lane at around 2.10am on Saturday, May 2, where a 33-year-old man was found seriously injured.
The victim was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service in a life-threatening condition, but police have now confirmed he is stable.
As part of the investigation, Met detectives have recovered a black BMW 330E estate believed to be linked to the attack.
Officers say CCTV shows the vehicle, carrying the registration FM21 UKW, arriving in Acre Lane shortly before 2am before speeding away towards Clapham Park Road following the stabbing at around 2.15am.
CCTV also captured what detectives believe are the three suspects.
Detective Sergeant Daniel Beek, who is leading the investigation, said: “This brutal attack almost claimed the life of a young man.
"My team and I are determined to find those responsible and urge anyone with information to contact us.
“The incident took place in an incredibly busy area.
"There were cars on the road – which hopefully means relevant dashcam footage – and we believe residents may have doorbell cameras pointing towards the street.
