Seven community groups in Wandsworth have received a share of more than £25,000 in new funding.
The Springfield Spark Community Fund has awarded the grants as part of a programme to deliver creative and inclusive activities in Springfield Park, Tooting over the summer.
The fund, announced by the Mayor of London at the park’s opening, was established by Springfield Village partners to support community-led projects promoting wellbeing, connection, and engagement with nature.

Among the award recipients are Riverside Radio, which will host a family-friendly summer festival featuring reading, sport, music and hands-on radio activities.
Roehampton Wellbeing Women and Children, an organisation supporting Asian families, will lead nature walks incorporating storytelling, observation, reflection and simple creative practices.
Harriet Gladwell-Phillips, project lead for Springfield Master Developer STEP, said: "Springfield Spark is testament to our collective commitment to making a genuine community impact at Springfield Village.
"Right from the outset of the construction phase and now into daily life in the park, the trust and the development partners have consistently focused on the wider wellbeing and opportunity our project can generate and not just on the new bricks and mortar."
Other funded organisations include Share Community, which will offer walks for Share students to learn about local wildlife and biodiversity.
Sound Minds will run three outdoor art workshops exploring drawing, painting, and photography.
The Furzedown Project, which supports older people, will offer guided history walks, art and photography sessions, and a garden visit.
The Hope for Wellbeing Project will host a men’s walking football group, Steps to Strength, focused on improving mental and physical health.
The Wandsworth Carers Centre will organise two picnics, guided walks, and a chance to try Qigong, enabling them to have a break from their caring role and improve their wellbeing.
The Springfield Spark Community Fund is part of Springfield Village, a partnership involving the trust, Barratt London, London Square, and City & Country, supported by master developer STEP.
