Train services were brought to a halt near Surrey today after emergency services were called to reports of a possible casualty on the tracks.
British Transport Police were called to the line near Edenbridge railway station at 8.55am on March 6, following reports of a possible casualty on the tracks.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: "Officers attended and conducted a search of the area and it was confirmed to have been a near miss."
All train lines between Redhill and Tonbridge were closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Lines have since reopened.
