A male has been taken to hospital following a stabbing in Mitcham.
The London Ambulance Service was called at 6.40pm yesterday (February 19) after reports of a stabbing at the junction of Lindsey Close and Recreation Way.
An ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer were dispatched to the scene.
A trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance in a rapid response vehicle also attended.

The patient was treated at the scene before being transported to a major trauma centre.
His current condition has not been confirmed at this stage.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.40pm yesterday (19 February) to reports of a stabbing at the junction of Lindsey Close and Recreation Way, Mitcham.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer.
"We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre.”
