Taylor Swift has released a music video featuring a star-studded cast, and the best part is - it could well have been filmed in Croydon.
The nearly six-minute video, which has been rumoured to have been filmed at Croydon’s Whitgift Shopping Centre.
It was written and directed by Swift and features Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson playing her love interest.
Oscar winner Cillian Murphy is also among the cast, alongside singer Lewis Capaldi and presenter Graham Norton.
London Now previously reported on rumours of the video being filmed in Croydon late last year.
The video is for Swift’s latest single Opalite, the second from her record-breaking album The Life Of A Showgirl.
Swift said the idea came to her while appearing on The Graham Norton Show in October, where she appeared alongside all the celebrities who later appeared in the video.
Writing on Instagram she said : "The idea for the Opalite music video crash landed into my imagination when I was doing promo for The Life Of A Showgirl. I was a guest on one of my favorite shows, @TheGrahamNortonShowOfficial"
While on the BBC programme, Gleeson made a light-hearted comment about wanting to be in a Taylor Swift music video.
This prompted Swift to invite the entire guest panel—including Irish actors Murphy and Norton, actress Jodie Turner-Smith, and Scottish singer Capaldi—to take part.
Swift said: "I had this thought that it would be wild if all of our fellow guests on the Graham Norton show that night, including Graham himself, could be a part of it too.
"Like a school group project but for adults and it isn’t mandatory.
"To my delight, everyone from the show made the effort to time travel back to the 90s with us and help with this video."

Norton appears as a salesman, Murphy on billboards and advertisements, and Capaldi as a photographer.
Greta Lee and Jodie Turner-Smith also star in the video.
Clips from The Graham Norton Show episode are included at the end of the music video, including the on-air conversation that inspired the collaboration.
Opalite is the second single from Swift’s album The Life Of A Showgirl, released on October 3.
She has revealed the song is about her fiancé, NFL player Travis Kelce, whose birthstone is opal.
