A south London neighbourhood is welcoming back a Post Office, as reported by our sister title London Now.
The new Crossways Post Office, located inside Crossway Food & Wine on Selsden Park Road in Croydon, will open on Friday, March 27, at 1pm.
The previous branch at the Forestdale Centre on Featherbed Lane closed in April 2024 following the resignation of the operator and the closure of the store, London Now reports, where further details of the reopening can be read.
The newly relocated branch will offer 98 hours of service per week, opening daily from 8am to 10pm.
A spokesman for the Post Office said: "We are keen to restore service as possible and the relocated branch will open inside Crossway Food & Wine on Friday 27 March at 1pm."
Customers will have access to everyday banking, mail services, home shopping returns, bill payments, and Euros on demand.
