A woman was taken to hospital after a Lamborghini smashed into a bus stop in Battersea.
Dramatic pictures show the aftermath of the incident, which took place in Lombard Road on Monday (October 27) at 1.57am.
It is thought the vehicle is a 2015 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 - which costs over £120,000 to buy used and has a top speed of 201 mph
The supercar, which can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds, appears severely damaged - with parts of the front bonnet completely ripped off.
It is understood that no arrests have been made following the crash.
Hours later, Katie Ball, 33, was taking a morning walk by the river when she stumbled upon the scene.
She said: “The bus stop was wrecked, the shattered glass had reached quite a long way.
“It had made it to the other side of the road as well – that probably shows the speed they were going at.”
The marketing manager, who has lived in Battersea for over a decade, said the road had ‘quite a few tight turns’ and that she had seen a few crashes before – but never anything as bad as this.
She added: “Most of the bus stop had been wrecked, the whole of one side of the bus stop had caved in.
“The front of the car was pretty wrecked. I saw the kind of car it was and what time it happened, and I assumed it was a late-night joy ride.”
A LAS spokesperson said: “We were called on Monday, October 27, at 1.57am to reports of a road traffic collision in Lombard Road, SW11.
“We sent an ambulance crew and treated a woman at the scene before taking her to hospital.”
The Metropolitan Police has not shared further information.
