A 107-year-old woman has had her wish of a "spa day at home" granted.
Sutton resident Meg Hart was pampered with a head massage, hair wash, blow dry, and pedicure on September 19.
The "day of indulgence" was arranged by her home care provider Caremark Sutton as part of the company's national Care for a Wish initiative.
Ms Hart also received new pillows with silk pillowcases, a blanket, and an afternoon tea from Fortnum & Mason.
She was one of 20 people in the UK selected for the initiative, which aims to create "meaningful, joy-filled moments" for people in care.
She has been receiving care from Caremark Sutton for seven years.
Caremark Sutton's managing director Hannah Drury said: "Meg is a much-loved client of ours; she’s known for her sharp wit, great sense of humour and a lifelong love of football.
"A keen puzzle-solver and self-confessed foodie, she never misses the chance to enjoy a good pudding.
"She continues to inspire us all with the joy she brings to everyday life.
"Meg received this special treat after being nominated by our staff as someone who truly deserves it.
"As a team, we were delighted to share this moment with her."
