A historic pub in Richmond has been named as the UK’s most TikTok viral pub.
It’s no mystery that us Brits love a trip to a pub, but some of the UK’s pubs go viral on TikTok with videos on them garnering thousands of views.
Recently holiday letting company holidaylodges.co.uk conducted research to find the UK’s top TikTok viral pubs, with the list ranging across the country from London to Wales.
The Roebuck in Richmond came in at the top spot with a whopping 2.5 million views and 243,000 likes, outranking all the other pubs in the list.
This historic pub overlooking the River Thames has garnered much attention online for being a classic pub with panoramic views of the Thames.
This 300-year-old pub dating to 1717 is Richmond’s oldest pub, with the surrounding landscape of Richmond Hill capturing the imaginations of artists like J.M.W Turner and Sir Joshua Reynolds.
The pub underwent a restoration in 2024, retaining much of its historical 18th century charm, and features a cosy log fire that is lit during the winter months, offering that country pub feel while still being within London.
As for food, the pub serves a range of traditional British fare, from breakfast options like a classic Full English and Eggs Royale, to lunch options like a classic fish finger sandwich and toasties, as well as dinner options like fish and chips and Sunday Roasts.
The drink selection is just as extensive, featuring a selection of cask ales including the Roebuck Pale Ale as well as rotating guest ales, draught lager, cider, and low- or no-alcohol options.
Wine lovers can choose from a selection of reds, whites and sparkling options, and cocktails are also served at the bar along with spirits.
