Brixton Village is set to host a month-long wine festival this September featuring music and wine tastings.
Running from September 2 to September 28, Brixton will be hosting its inaugural Beer and Wine Festival, with a beer festival taking place the following month from October 1 to November 2 – a new collaborative festival between Brixton Village and Fables & Company.
This brand-new community event will see many local businesses, including Finch, take part in the festivities with a calendar of wine-themed events and tastings.
Wine and beer lovers can purchase a festival pack for £3 to get their hands on exclusive discounts, including 25 per cent off wines at six different businesses including Finch, Vining Street and Courtesan.
The festival will feature music as well a mini wine fair taking place in Brixton Village every Sunday during the running of the festival, with the first three Sundays hosted in the courtyard, and the final Sunday spanning into Market Row and Courtyard.
Alongside the festival, a number of tastings will also be running throughout the month on certain days, where visitors can purchase discounted glasses and bottles of wine and meet the producers ,with names like Henners, London Cru and Graft confirmed.
Festival goers attending on Saturdays and Sundays can also expect to listen to live music hosted by Brixton Village Lates and Handson Family Music.
On September 2, Finch will also release its brand-new wine list, featuring more exotic regions along with English and sparkling wines.
