Strawberry Hill House takes centre stage in the new season of Netflix's The Sandman.

The 18th-century Gothic villa, originally built by Horace Walpole, has been transformed into the magical realm of Faerie for season two of the popular fantasy series.

The Sandman, based on Neil Gaiman’s bestselling graphic novels, follows the King of Dreams, Morpheus, through a universe filled with myth, magic, and mortal lives.

For the latest season, key scenes were filmed within Strawberry Hill House's most iconic spaces.

The Tribune, once Walpole’s treasure cabinet, becomes the bedchamber of Lady Nuala, a faerie courtier to Queen Titania.

The Long Gallery, with its crimson damask walls and fan-vaulted ceiling, is the site of Cluracan’s revels, and The Round Room becomes Cluracan’s private parlour.

Viewers can spot Strawberry Hill House in Episode 9, The Kindly Ones, and Episode 10, Long Live the King.

The historic villa, which was created by Walpole in the 18th century as a theatrical home of stories and imagination, continues to inspire writers, artists, and now filmmakers.

This summer, Strawberry Hill House is open every day from 11am to 4pm until September 7, inviting fans of The Sandman to explore the filming locations of the series.

Beyond the screen, the house is set to transform once again for the Strawberry Hill Flower Festival from September 12 to 14.

This year’s theme, The Faery Tale Castle, will see over 50 of the UK’s leading floral artists create displays inspired by folklore and fairy legends, echoing the faery-tale magic seen in The Sandman.

Strawberry Hill House, with its rich history and unique architecture, offers a glimpse into the world of The Sandman, blending reality with the fantastical elements of the series.

Whether you're a fan of the show or simply a lover of history and architecture, a visit to Strawberry Hill House promises an enchanting experience.
