A man in his 40s was taken to hospital after being stabbed in a park in Battersea, on Friday evening (July 11).

Emergency services were called to York Gardens at around 6.06pm.

Officers attended the scene along with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

The victim was treated for stab wounds and taken to hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life-changing.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
