A popular pizza chain has officially opened its doors to a new restaurant in Kingston.

PizzaExpress has opened a new restaurant on Riverside Walk in Kingston, offering alfresco dining along the water and a fresh addition to the town's food scene.

The opening marks the brand’s fourth new launch in its 60th anniversary year.

Jessica Autiero, territory manager for PizzaExpress Kingston, said: "Our stunning new restaurant pairs perfectly with our delicious summer menu, and we’re thrilled to welcome everyone to our Kingston Riverside pizzeria.

"There’s no better location to enjoy your PizzaExpress favourites and we hope to see everyone down at the restaurant for our giveaway on Friday June 27."

To celebrate the launch, the restaurant will give away 200 free Margherita pizzas on Friday, June 27 between 12pm and 2pm.

The offer includes classic, vegan, or gluten-free options.

Inside, the restaurant features botanical wallpaper and a design that creates a flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Ms Autiero and her 23-member team are eager to welcome diners to the new site.

The summer menu includes Hawaiian Hot Dough Balls, part of a collaboration with UK sauce brand The Sauce Shop.

Other new items include the Calabrian Feast, a twist on the Four Seasons Speciale, Buffalo Chicken Wings, and a Birthday Cake Sundae.

The opening comes as PizzaExpress celebrates 60 years in business.
