A beloved Wandsworth watering hole has thrown open its doors once more, welcoming locals back with a stylish new look, refreshed menu, and vibrant cocktail list.
The Althorp, located by Wandsworth Common, has unveiled a fresh look with a new menu and cocktail list.
The pub, known for its dark wood furnishings, exposed brickwork, and leather sofas, now boasts a suntrap terrace overlooking the common.

Head Chef Alex Da Cruz has crafted a menu that features seasonal ingredients from British suppliers.
Options include Maldon rock oysters with chimichurri, burrata with Isle of Wight tomatoes and chervil pesto, and day boat fish with sautéed Jersey Royals and purple sprouting broccoli.

The menu also features a West Country sharing steak, served with clotted cream mash.
Lunchtime options include poached St Ewe’s hen’s egg with smashed avocado on homemade focaccia, Suffolk chicken schnitzel with confit garlic butter, and a selection of sandwiches.
Sundays at The Althorp are dedicated to roasts, with options such as West Country beef, Suffolk roast chicken, and Dingley Dell pork belly.
A weekly-changing sharing roast is also available.
The Althorp’s bar offers a range of drinks, including local brews, world wines, and premium spirits.
The new cocktail list features a selection of signature spritzes, including a sparkling margarita with a kick of chilli, a passionfruit yuzu with Tanqueray gin, and a Cuban colada with spiced rum, pineapple, coconut, and lime.
The pub also offers a selection of alcohol-free cocktails.
The Althorp is now open seven days a week.
