A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital after a shooting in New Addington.
The incident happened in Walsh Crescent just before 7.30pm yesterday (May 21).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man who had been shot.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his injuries were assessed as non life threatening.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 19:26hrs on Wednesday, 21 May to reports of a firearm discharge in Croydon.
“Officers, including specialist crime officers, attended the scene at Walsh Crescent.
“A man in this 30s suffered gunshot wounds, which have not been deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“No arrests have as yet been made.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
