A man from Carshalton has been charged after a cyclist died in a crash with a lorry on Battersea Bridge.
Shane Gibbs, 37, of Millside, is charged with causing the death of Bianca Dos Santos by dangerous driving.
It is alleged that he was behind the wheel of a Scania P40 lorry when he caused Ms Dos Santos’ death.
It comes after a collision on Battersea Bridge on August 10, 2023.
Emergency services were called to the bridge just before 8am on the day of the incident.
The cyclist, aged 27 from Battersea, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Gibbs appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on April 23.
He was released on unconditional bail and will next appear in court at Kingston Crown Court on May 20.
