Three flood alerts have been issued along the River Thames from Surrey to Putney following heavy rainfall.
The Environment Agency has issued three flood alerts covering the Thames Tidal area stretching from Putney to Shepperton.
These flood alerts follow heavy periods of rainfall over recent days, leading to rising river levels in these areas.
What areas does this affect?
River Thames riverside from Putney Bridge to Teddington Weir, including:
- Putney Embankment (SW15)
- Chiswick Mall and Strand on the Green (W4)
- Thames Bank at Mortlake (SW14)
- Ranelagh Drive (TW1)
- Friars Lane and Water Lane (TW9)
- Riverside and The Embankment at Twickenham
- Towpath below Teddington Lock
Other areas:
- River Thames from Teddington to Hampton and Thames Ditton, including Hampton Wick and Kingston-upon-Thames.
- River Thames from West and East Molesey to Shepperton, especially in the Sunbury area, but also Hamm Court and Walton-on-Thames.
